In Swedish, “lagom” means “to be content with just the right amount.” The term seemed like the perfect fit for a new restaurant venture for partners Kristina and Janice, who were overjoyed to finally open a restaurant of their own when Lagom debuted three months ago.
Their menu pays homage to a blend of different cultures. It offers everything from updated versions of American comfort food to classic Italian pizzas. Share a few apps like the spicy buffalo brussels sprouts and the house-made hummus, then dig into your entree. Options include house-made gnocchi in a creamy parmesan sauce, a thin-crust pizza topped with bacon and brie, and sesame-encrusted scallops. Regardless of which dish you choose, most of its ingredients came from local farmers.
