Explore the Unique Havre De Grace Decoy Museum
The Havre De Grace Decoy Museum offers a truly unique experience for residents and visitors of the Chesapeake Bay region. The museum is dedicated to documenting the history, importance and cultural significance of decoys, wooden ducks and geese meant to attract waterfowl and bring them closer to hunters. Today, the museum’s collection of decoys is considered artwork.
The exhibits will teach you everything from the basics of decoys and waterfowling, to information about the accomplishments and tactics of renowned decoy carvers. The museum is located a 15-minute drive from The Yards at Fieldside apartments, and is open year-round, every day of the week. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $2 for kids and children under 8 can enter the museum for free.
